A Benefit for Grad Night Events for All Classes at El Cerrito High School

Every year, for more than a decade, friends and family supporters of El Cerrito High School have gathered at Casino Night to enjoy an evening of fun and conviviality while supporting El Cerrito High School graduation events for all four classes.  You are invited to this year’s Casino Night whether you are a Casino Night veteran or a first-timer! 

 

Now, more than ever, ECHS needs ALL of our support in weathering tough times that are becoming tougher and I hope you will come to help support ECHS while having a great time.

 

What happens at Casino Night?

Casino Games:  We’ll start you off with a handful of play money and you can test your luck and skill at blackjack, roulette, and craps.  Professional dealers will be on hand to provide instruction to new players and top winners at the end of the evening will receive fabulous prizes! 

Meet with friends, new and old!  One of the very best features of Casino Night is spending some relaxing time with friends.  Usually, we see each other while dropping kids off for various events or in meetings but we rarely get to spend social time together to catch up on things or make new acquaintances.  This event is for adults only! 

Music:  LIVE MUSIC playing in the background is a wonderful tradition at Casino Night.  This year’s band is sure to please!

Food and Refreshments:  Delicious complimentary hors d'oeuvres and desserts and a no-host bar will be available throughout the evening. 

Silent Auction:  Take a break from the gaming tables to wander around the many, many silent auction items that will be up for bidding during the evening.  A partial listing of items up for bid includes:

WINE TASTING FOR 16 AT YOUR HOME

Angela Fraher, an Independent Wine Consultant with WineShop At Home, will guide you and your guests

through a lively tasting of five artisan wines at your home.  A typical wine tasting lasts

1-2 hours where you will learn about the wines along with good pairing tips.

You may invite up to 16 guests.  As the host, you provide light appetizers,

then sit back, relax and enjoy.  Expiration: May 2010.

TENT CABIN STAY AT LAIR OF THE BEAR

Proceeds from Casino Night 2010 will go to support Grad Night for each of the four classes from ECHS.  Organized and hosted by ECHS parents, Grad Night provides graduating seniors with a safe, sober and fun way to spend the night following high school graduation. 

Suggested donation for tickets is $20 each in advance ($25 at the door).  Admission includes play money for casino games, silent auction bidding access, and hors d'oeuvres and desserts.
